Anglistik includes scientific papers on the entire range of the English philology (English & American Studies), covering linguistics, literary studies as well as teaching methodology. A special concern of this journal is to introduce the reader to innovative questioning in each field of research, especially to cultural studies and “New English Literatures”. A book review section concisely presents scientific releases from all disciplines of the English philology.

Anglistik is published on behalf of Deutscher Anglistenverband, the German Association for the Study of English, and informs about annual meetings and staff news.
